OKBB 101- Education of Elijah Craig
September 26, 2026 6:15 PM
Pay attention class! OKBB 101 is in session once again on Saturday, September 26th from 2:15 to 3:30.
OKBB is proud to host our good friend Adam of Heaven Hill, for an intimate education on Elijah Craig, their barreling and rickhouse practices, and any wild and weird question you could possibly have about one of our favorite bourbon brands! And, of course, there will be tastings, because would it be an OKBB class if you COULDN'T drink?
September is already getting away from us! Tickets are limited, so get yours early! Pop in OKBB (might as well get a drink too), message us on Facebook Messenger, or email Taylor@oldkybourbonbar.com

Elijah Craig Single Barrel Release
October 13, 2026 8:00 PM
Early in 2026, the OKBB crew traveled to Heaven Hill on a mission: to find a barrel worthy of the father of bourbon, Elijah Craig. We sampled several delicious whiskeys, but we were on a mission to find something truly extraordinary. Then, we discovered a barrel that had been tucked away for 10 years. When we tasted it... well, we knew we had found something legendary. The bourbon gods clearly favored this barrel, claiming more than half to the angels' share. Clocking in at a massive 136.6 proof, this rare yield produced just 96 bottles. Come get ya some!
