National Bourbon Heritage Month
September 01, 2023 6:00 PM
First, a few facts. On August 2, 2007, the U.S. Senate declared September as National Bourbon Heritage Month. The bill was sponsored by Senator Jim Bunning of Kentucky and was passed by unanimous consent. Culturally, economically, and socially sourced in America, bourbon is truly America's native spirit. Kentucky is the home of bourbon and is responsible for 95% of the bourbon produced in the world.
.... Football season starts in September.
The Old Kentucky Bourbon Bar is proud of our roots in Covington as the first "bourbon bar" in the Northern Kentucky region. Join us at OKBB during the month of September to celebrate our bourbon heritage and sample from our selection of more than 900 different bourbons! Colonel Aaron and the crew will be dusting off some old classics that we've been holding back. And each of our bartenders will be offering specials from back pocket menu each day during the month of September.
Join us! We're poppin bottles at the top of the Kentucky Bourbon Trail! #okbbblvd #bourbonheitage #tommyink #NAMINKY

Join Team OKBB for NAMIWalks NKY! The walk is happening on October 7, 2023 along the Ohio river in Dayton, Kentucky. In addition to a nice walk, we are raising money for the National Alliance on Mental Illness for Northern Kentucky (NAMI NKY).
NAMI NKY provides free support, education, and advocacy for those who live with mental illness and their families, friends, and caregivers within the eight-county Northern Kentucky region. They depend entirely on volunteers and donations in order to provide these critical services.
